Ingredients

2 pounds green beans, ready to cook
2 cups chicken stock
Sea salt, to taste
Freshly ground pepper
4 ounces unsalted butter
½ cup toasted slivered almonds

Directions

Add beans to saucepan with chicken stock
Cover and simmer until desired crispness.
Drain.
Toss with butter, salt, pepper, and almonds.

Serves 8 to 10
