1 RED KURI SQUASH, CUT IN HALF SEEDS REMOVED
1 TABLESPOON OLIVE OIL SPLIT BETWEEN BOTH HALVES
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
1 TALBESPOON ANCHO CHILI POWDER
1 TEASPOON SMOKED PAPARIKA
1 TABLESPOON SPICY SMOKED HONEY
1 TABLESPOON BROWN SUGAR

Directions

PREHEAT OVEN 400 DEGREES

PLACE SQUASH ON A ROASTING PAN OR IF COOKING IN WOOD FIRE PIZZA OVEN USE A CAST IRON SKILLET

DRIZZLE SQUASH WITH OLIVE OIL, THEN SPRINKLE CHILI POWDER, PAPARIKA, HONEY AND BROWN SUGAR

COOK 1 HOUR OR UNTIL FORK TENDER

GARNISH WITH FRESH SAGE AND THYME FROM GARDEN

NOTE: IF YOU WANT THE SMOKEY FLAVOR BUT DON’T HAVE A WOOD FIRE PIZZA OVEN YOU CAN USE SMOKED SALT TO BUMP UP THE SMOKEY FLAVOR
