CHASE STOKES talks about “Marked Men,” and it’s the conclusion of finance week for “How to Thrive in ‘25” as BOLA SOKUNBI gives tips on how to detox your spending. Plus, veterinarian Dr. Jennifer Jellison shares advice on end of life care for your pet.

Considering end of life for your pet can be an overwhelming decision. For direction and assistance in the decision contact your veterinarian and consider a quality of life discussion.
Is your pet showing signs of decline or pain? These include lethargy, to eating or drinking, vomiting , falling, difficulty breathing or simply not doing the regular things your pet does. The veterinarian will examine your pet and counsel you on your pet and on how you are feeling about the incoming decision.
In most cases the decision does not have to be immediate and there is time for family members to discuss and for you to spend some special time with your pet as you prepare to say goodbye. Often we want our pets to simply pass I their sleep, peacefully but that is rarely the case. This is when you can offer a kindness to your pet who has offered you so much kindness through out its life, this decision is both the kindest and the hardest gift to give.
Consider your options carefully and deeply. You will know when you are both ready.
