A few weeks ago, Barba Men’s Grooming Boutique, an N.Y.C. barbershop, launched ‘Quarancuts Virtual Hair School,’ A one-on-one video sessions with Xavier Cruz, master stylist, and headmaster of Quarancuts. He’ll walk you or your quarantine partner through whatever trim, cut, or buzz. So grab your mom, dad, husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, grandmother, or roommate to get that cut.
The first graduate was actor Billy Porter and his husband Adam Porter-Smith. In this video, Xavier walked Billy through giving his husband an at-home step-by-step haircut, to demonstrate how others can keep up their grooming regimes while social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. This campaign was brought to life by the advertising agency Terri & Sandy.
