Ingredients

The Quick Way
1 can (3 ½ lb.) baked beans- your favorite brand
2 cups BBQ sauce
¼ cup Dijon mustard
½ lb. bacon, drain on paper towels.

The Slow Way
2lb. Navy beans- dry
1 lb. Bacon- cut into 1" pieces
3 med. onions, sliced
3 Tbs. Dry Ginger
¼ cup Dijon mustard
3 cups BBQ sauce
Salt/pepper

Directions

The Quick Way
Open can of beans and drain the liquid. Place in a casserole dish
Add 2 cups BBQ sauce and ¼ cup Dijon mustard
Fry ½ lb. bacon, drain on paper towels.
Crumble ½ the bacon into the beans and stir. Add water if needed.
Top with the rest of the bacon.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees, for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 20 min more to crisp up the bacon on top.

The Slow Way
Cover Navy beans with water and soak over night.
Drain beans and put in a deep casserole
Cut 1 lb. bacon into 1" pieces
Put ½ the bacon in the casserole dish with the beans
Add onions, Dijon, dry Ginger, ¼ cup Dijon mustard, 3 cups BBQ sauce, and Salt/pepper
Add water to cover and stir. Bake at 325 degrees, covered for 6 hours.
Top with the rest of the bacon.
Check every 2 hours, adding water as needed.
Uncover for the last hour so bacon on top can crisp a bit.
